The Beijing Housing Service Corporation for Diplomatic Missions was formerly called the Housing Service Department of Beijing Diplomatic Personnel Service Bureau (established in 1962) and on April 1, 1982, it was officially registered as the Beijing Housing Service Corporation for Diplomatic Missions and now it has registered capital of 1.4 billion RMB yuan.

Over the years, the corporation has been adhering to its managerial principle of “attitude, quality and efficiency” in providing office buildings, living quarters and related services to the embassies, representative offices of the international organizations and foreign news agencies and their members working and living in Beijing. It enjoys good reputation in the circle of foreign affairs service.

 The real property of the corporation, occupying areas of more than 1.2 million square meters with constructed space close to 800 thousand square meters, is divided into three embassy zones, namely the north and south embassy zones and 3rd embassy zone. At present, we have 64 independent embassy premises available for rent (excluding the embassy premises sold). Apart from the embassy premises, we have Jianguomenwai, Qijiayuan, Tayuan, Sanlitun, Liangmaqiao and Golden Island diplomatic residence compounds, composed of 45 buildings with over 2400 apartments, 13 small villas and 24 townhouse units for rent.

The diplomatic residence compounds, taking advantage of their exceptionally convenient locations, marvelous green environment and high quality service, are striving to making themselves an exclusive brand of “diplomatic residence compound (DRC)”. Except Liangmaqiao and Golden Island Diplomatic Residence Compounds, all the rest compounds were built in the 1960’s and 1970’s, bearing unique historical and cultural connotation.
