Founded on January 2, 1962 and affiliated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions (BSBDM) is an establishment operating along the lines of an enterprise. Under the BSBDM headquarters, there are quite a few corporations and institutions such as Beijing Personnel Service Corporation for Diplomatic Missions, Beijing Housing Service Corporation for Diplomatic Missions, Beijing International Club LTD, China Jiaoyuan Corporation for International Economic and Technical Cooperation, Beijing Comprehensive Service Corporation for Diplomatic Missions, Beijing Language and Cultural Center for Diplomatic Missions, The Capital Construction Division, the Information and Training Center and the Logistics Service Center.

Through establishment of Beijing Ring-Do Auto Hire Center, Beijing Yunkang Property Management Corporation, Beijing Yunjia Human Resources Service for Diplomatic Missions, Beijing Yunchi Translation Service Ltd, Beijing Jiaoyuan Exit-Entry Facilitation Service Co. Ltd, and Beijing Aojie Building Decoration and Remodeling Co. Ltd, BSBDM has constantly gained width and depth in the foreign affairs services. Presently, with 8,000-odd employees, BSBDM has become a comprehensive group for foreign affairs services, with its business range covering human resources, real estates, hotels and catering, civil engineering construction, property management, teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, etc.

Over almost half a century, BSBDM, adhering to the principle of “Serving China’s Diplomatic Cause, Serving Diplomatic Missions, and Serving the Socialist Modernization Construction ” and taking “quality, attitude and efficiency” as its service motto, has faithfully fulfilled its duty and mission as entrusted by the state.
